Whitefish, Montana
Whitefish is truly Montana’s (and likely the entire Rockies’) year-round vacation capital. Conveniently located just minutes from Glacier National Park, Whitefish hosts numerous opportunities for activity, including downhill skiing, dog sledding, hiking, boating, golfing, horseback riding, mountain biking, fishing, and hunting, just to name a few. But it isn’t just recreation that makes this place so special. Anyone who has been to Whitefish can tell you about the variety of world class dining that can be found on a Montana budget. It may just rival the offerings from anywhere else in the US!
Interested in the arts? Whitefish, and the surrounding Flathead Valley, boast numerous art galleries featuring both local favorites and world renowned artists. It’s also the home of Festival Amadeus, the annual, week-long, summer musical event hosted by the Glacier Symphony & Chorale.
The live entertainment is endless with our two theaters:
"The Whitefish Theatre Company is a non-profit, community-based performing arts company which performs in the 326-seat I.A. O'Shaughnessy Center."
The Alpine Theater Project is a professional theatre in Whitefish, Montana featuring actors from Broadway and presenting plays, musical theatre, and concerts.
But most of all, Whitefish is where we call home. The people are “Montana Friendly” and genuinely happy that you have come to visit! We are easily accessible, thanks to Glacier International Airport.
Glacier National Park
Called “The Crown Jewel of the Continent,” Glacier National Park is an experience that everyone should enjoy at least once in their lifetime. The park is open all year long, although the higher alpine sections are closed in the winter due to heavy snow fall. For hikers, mountaineers, animal lovers and sight seers, this is THE place to be, with so much to enjoy that you just have to experience it yourself. Everyone that visits leaves with a greater appreciation for life, and the beauty that our wonderful Earth has created. We can also assist in arranging tours, through Glacier Adventure Guides, throughout the year for those guests that want to enjoy the park up close and personal.
